Scott is a Grand Rapids native. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Chicago in 2000 and his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2004. He was in private practice for a number of years before commissioning into the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps in 2009.
